Welcome to my
personal web-page!! Here you can find about my work on photonic crystals,
artificial opals and much more... Briefly: In 1999
I graduated in Physics at the Universidad
Autonoma de Madrid and received the Advanced Studies Diploma (MS degree equivalent) in
2001 from the Materials Science department of the same university. In
November 2003 I obtained my PhD, based on the research that I carried out
under the supervision of Prof. Cefe Lopez at the Institute of Materials
Science of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) and Prof. Francisco Meseguer (Centro
Tecnólogico de Ondas, Valencia). In 2004 I began to
work for Prof. Paul Braun
at the Materials Research Laboratories
in the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. On December 2007, I
became a Director’s fellow at Los Alamos
National Laboratory where I work in
Dr. Victor I. Klimov’s team. |
